Geotechnical Investigation

report

Our comprehensive geotechnical reports follow the recommendations provided by ASCE Texas Committee. The report gives the client the information necessary to achieve the best foundation for their project.

This includes:

  • Site characterization of conditions that may impact the foundation;
  • Subsurface exploration data, including boring logs classifying the soil profile, laboratory and in-situ test results (following ASTM procedures), and ground water information;
  • Discussion analyzing the subsurface data and its affect on foundation options;
  • Design parameters required for each potential foundation option;
  • Recommendations including foundation type, bearing depth, and allowable bearing pressure;
  • Earthwork and construction provisions to ensure a stable foundation.
